Sheikhupura is situated 32km to the west of Lahore, and is linked to the other regional centers of Punjab. Sheikhupura is spread over an area of 5,960 square kilometers. The district had a population of 3,321,029 of which 25.45% were urban in 1998.

It has five tehsils namely

1. Sheikhupura (51 Union Councils)

2. Ferozewala (21 Union Councils)

3. Muridke (21 Union Councils)

4. Sharaq pur (08 Union Councils)

5. Sadar Abad (09 Union Councils)

Major towns in district Sheikhupura are Farooqabad, Muridke, Sharaqpur, Narang Mandi, Jandiala Sher Khan, Ferozwatwan, Lagar, Safdar Abad,Mananwala, Faizpur.

The organization shall focus for its service delivery activities in Farooqabad (3 union councils) . The area is selected keeping in consideration material and financial resources needed to successfully complete quality formal education, preventive, curative and referral health care facilities, water environment and sanitation education and interventions.
